Space for everyone
Roding Valley will have provision for over 700 car parking spaces and over 350 HGV spaces with ample provision for all other vehicle types and road users.

The site
We have designed plenty of green spaces for drivers to enjoy on their visit and provide new spaces and habitats for wildlife.
- 70% of the total site area will be green spaces including landscaping and areas for biodiversity net gain
- 24% of the overall site area will be exclusively dedicated to biodiversity net gain, which will be located on around 12 hectares of land to the south of the site, inside the M25

Preparing for the future
Our proposals support the Government’s plans to ready the Electric Vehicle (EV) support infrastructure network by:
- Providing exclusively High-Powered Charging along one of the UK’s busiest roads to combat the fear that electric vehicles run out of charge before it reaches its destination
- Ensuring the proposed motorway services is future ready by developing charging infrastructure with non-EV spaces ready to be converted to EV charging points in the future
- Helping Brentwood Borough Council deliver its Environment Strategy (2023-2026) with the infrastructure needed to decarbonise the area by reducing non-electric vehicles on the road
Contributing to the community
- The project represents a £155 million investment and would result in significant job creation during both the construction and operational phases, with at least 300 new full-time jobs
Environmental and Biodiversity Gain
- 24% of the site dedicated to biodiversity net gain and creating habitats for wildlife
- Roding Valley Services has been developed with environmental stewardship and biodiversity in mind
- Our plans include a soft landscaping scheme on the embankments that surround our parking facilities and buildings
